Operational rules describe current product behavior. “Legal review required” marks wording or obligations that must be checked for each jurisdiction; it is not a promise of legal enforcement.
Payment hold
Operational ruleSupported payments are collected through GPUCircle and held until buyer acceptance or the standard 72-hour inspection window closes without a claim.
This is described as a platform payment hold, not as a licensed escrow service. Sellers must not ship until the order shows that funds were received and shipping is authorized.
Fees
Operational ruleBuyer totals include the item price, shipping, applicable duties or taxes shown by checkout, and only enabled optional services.
Seller commission follows the published volume tier and payment processing is charged at cost. The Fees page is the current pricing source; an order snapshot records the actual amounts charged.
Import charges and reserves
Operational ruleWhere checkout estimates buyer import fees, the buyer must explicitly acknowledge responsibility before prepaying. The carrier or customs authority can determine a different final amount.
A risk-based reserve is a temporary hold applied under the disclosed risk process. It is not an automatic debit from an available seller balance and must not be described as a penalty fee.
Regulated wording
Legal review requiredPayment-hold, money-transmission, tax, and consumer-credit wording requires jurisdiction-specific legal review before expansion into a new country.
