Marketplace Rules — Ruleset v1.0
These rules exist so that buying a used GPU from a stranger on another continent feels as safe as buying new. They are enforced on every listing, every sale, every dispute.
1. Scope & eligibility
- Used NVIDIA GPU cards only: GeForce (GTX/RTX), workstation (Quadro / RTX Pro), data-center (Tesla / A- / H-series).
- Cards must be functional, complete and legally owned. Non-working, unsafe, structurally damaged, or incomplete cards are not eligible for sale.
- Prohibited: counterfeit or re-flashed/re-labeled cards, stolen goods, NDA engineering samples, tampered serial numbers.
2. Seller verification (KYC)
- Government ID + selfie match and payout-account verification before the first listing goes live.
- Business sellers (>10 cards/month) additionally provide business registration and tax information.
- One account per person or business. Ban evasion means permanent removal.
3. Listing requirements — proof or it doesn't list
- Minimum 5 real photos: front, back, ports, both serial stickers, PCB edge. Stock photos are rejected.
- GPU-Z screenshot from the actual card with the listing ID visible on screen.
- FurMark 2 result from a test run for at least 15 minutes, showing max temperature and clock stability. Upload strict UTF-8 TXT or FurMark CSV. Existing paid 3DMark evidence is optional, normally requires Steam, and never substitutes for FurMark.
- Mandatory disclosure: mining use (yes / no / unknown), repairs, water-cooling conversion, remaining warranty.
4. Condition grading
- Grade A — Like New: no visible wear, original packaging, reference temps, no repairs.
- Grade B — Good: light wear, fully functional, temps within 10% of reference, nothing beyond a repaste.
- Grade C — Fair: visible wear or minor damage, functional, may run warm or loud — all photographed.
- Grade D — Heavily Worn: functional and safe, with heavy cosmetic wear or maintenance recommended; the same per-card proof and passing FurMark requirements apply.
- For-parts cards and cards with structural cracks, PCB damage, non-working fans, liquid damage, artifacts, failed stress tests, or unsafe temperatures are prohibited at every grade.
- Misgrading evidence is reviewed under the returns and enforcement process; no price adjustment or sanction is automatic.
5. Payments & payment hold
- All payments through the platform hold — sellers are paid only after buyer confirmation. This is a payment hold, not a licensed escrow service.
- The 72-hour buyer inspection window starts only at authoritative carrier-confirmed delivery; the hold may release after it closes with no claim.
- Off-platform circumvention follows review-based enforcement: warning, restriction, then ban review. There is no automatic fee.
- Risk-based reserves are temporary holds under the effective policy bundle, not automatic balance debits or penalty fees.
6. Fees
- 5% seller fee + payment processing at cost (~3%). Listings are always free.
- Buyer explicitly acknowledges estimated import charges before prepayment; the carrier or customs authority sets the final amount.
- Top sellers (25+ sales, ≥4.8 rating, no strikes in 12 months) drop to 4%.
7. Shipping
- Anti-static bag + rigid box with 5 cm padding; photo of the packed box before the label activates.
- Tracked and insured to full sale value, always. Ship within 3 business days or the order auto-cancels with a strike.
- Cross-border checkout is available only for enabled country pairs and supported carriers. True value is declared; no ‘gift’ mis-declarations.
- Data-center accelerators subject to export restrictions are geo-restricted where required.
8. Returns, DOA & disputes
- Return claims preserve the serial, tamper state, shipment record and evidence chain. Conflicts require manual review; no outcome is automatic.
- Not as described (wrong model, undisclosed mining/repairs, misgrade): full refund at seller's cost + strike.
- No buyer's-remorse returns by default; sellers can opt into a 14-day return badge.
- Disputes decided within 5 business days against the listing's mandatory proof package; serials are matched to catch card-swap fraud.
9. Ratings & enforcement
- Both sides rate every completed deal; ratings are public and non-removable except proven abuse.
- Strikes: 1st warning, 2nd 30-day suspension, 3rd permanent ban. Counterfeit or stolen goods: instant ban + report to authorities.
Draft ruleset — legal review required per jurisdiction (consumer-return law, KYC obligations, export controls) before public launch.
